My rugs are handmade, loop by loop and stitch by stitch. It's a very meditative, relaxing craft. I often use traditional rug hooking and punch needle techniques in the same piece, which creates a very unique and original style. 

My art is colorful, textural, and is created as a source of joy and inspiration. These are contemporary pieces meant to be featured as beautiful art for your wall, just like a painting.

Design & Style: I create all of my own original designs in abstract and painterly landscape styles.

Measurements: Ranging from 6" x 6" to 3' x 4'.

Materials: 100% wool yarn, 100% wool strips, 50% wool / synthetic mixed yarn, and burlap backing. 

Finishing: The edges are simply folded over and hand sewn with cotton thread to create a flat hem, so it can lay as flat as possible on the wall.

How To Hang Rugs: They can easily be hung on a sheetrock wall with map pins or small nails. Alternatively, you could get a custom frame made.

Note: These are technically called rugs, even though they vary in size and are not meant to use on the floor.
